BIO
After studying at ArtsEd and the American Musical Theatre Academy, Catarina has performed in productions including the Cinderella UK Tour, Zorro The Musical, The Wizard of Oz and the West End Christmas Concert in London.
Having returned to Portugal three years ago, she joined the additional cast of TVI’s series A Fazenda and starred in the episode “Once You Go Black” of RTP’s Novas Narrativas series. In theatre, she played Desdemona in “Que Seria”, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello directed by Lara Mesquita. She was also part of the ensemble in the musical We Will Rock You at Sagres Campo Pequeno and played Fi in the musical É NATAL OUTRA VEZ, produced by GrowUp Produções at Boutique da Cultura, among other projects.
Catarina made her debut as a choreographer for the music video of a single by artist Nena and for the musical Princesas Em Concerto, produced by Elenco Produções.
Catarina also plays an active role in education, teaching Jazz and Musical Theatre to both adults and children at EDSAE – Escola de Teatro Musical, as well as leading workshops at various performing arts schools.
