Actor and director, José Pimentão has established himself as one of the Portuguese actors with the strongest international projection. In cinema, he stood out in Al Berto, Eva and several award-winning shorts. On television, he appeared in Espias, Lugar 54, Valor da Vida, Teorias da Conspiraçãoand Filha da Lei. In 2022, he gained worldwide recognition playing Ramiro in 1899 (Netflix). In 2024, he returned with Eric, portraying Sebastian, a complex character set in 1980s New York. More recently, he appeared in 18 Buracos para o Paraíso, Amadeo and Histórias da Montanha. In parallel, he has developed work as director and screenwriter, with projects such as Três Tristes Tigres.
