Norwegian-born actress based in Lisbon, Katrin Kaasa has developed a career across theatre, cinema and television, working in Portugal and internationally. In film, she collaborated with Luís Filipe Rocha on O Teu Rosto Será o Último, Leonardo António on Submissão and João Canijo on O Dia do Meu Casamento, as well as award-winning shorts such as Zoo by Margarida Leitão. On television, she appeared in Liberdade 21, Belmonte, Paixão, Três Mulheres, Amar Demais, Quando o Diabo Reza and Charité (Netflix). On stage, she performed in works by Chekhov, Pasolini and Racine, including O Jardim das Cerejeiras, Cenas da Vida Conjugal and Não me faças perder tempo, and collaborated with Christiane Jatahy and Martim Pedroso. Fluent in five languages, she works as an actress with a European scope.
