Portuguese actress with an international career, she holds a degree in Communication Studies and trained in acting in New York and Madrid, working in theatre, film and television in Portugal, Brazil and France. In film, she stood out in Mysteries of Lisbon by Raoul Ruiz, which earned her the Golden Globe for Best Actress and international nominations, Lines of Wellington by Valeria Sarmiento, Casanova Variations by Michael Sturminger, where she starred opposite John Malkovich, Slow Motion by Fernando Lopes, and Sombras Brancas by Fernando Vendrell. On television, she appeared in productions such as Broken Spies, 3 Mulheres, A Rainha e a Bastarda, Na Corda Bamba, Equador, Flor do Mar, as well as Globo telenovelas including O Clone, Sabor da Paixão and Boogie Oogie. For Netflix, she joined the cast of Rabo de Peixe, which achieved international recognition. She received the SPA Authors Award in 2014 for O Bairro and has nominations at the Platino Awards and the Portuguese Golden Globes. In 2025, she appears in the films Uma Praia em Nossas Vidas by Guto Botelho and Memórias de um Cárcere by Sérgio Graciano.
