BIO

With a career spanning cinema, theatre and television, Nuno Gil has appeared in films such as Alma Viva by Cristéle Alves Meira, Quarta Divisão by Joaquim Leitão, Desassossego by Felipe Bragança and Marina Meliande, 20,13 by Joaquim Leitão and Odete by João Pedro Rodrigues, presented at Cannes. On stage, he worked with directors including Luís Miguel Cintra, João Lourenço, Martim Pedroso, Carlos Pimenta and Emanuelle Demarcy-Mota, performing in national and international productions from Shakespeare to Bergman. On television, he featured in Sr. Rui – Um Homem do Povo(TVI), Vento do Norte (RTP), Prisioneira (TVI), A Espia (RTP), Paixão (SIC), A Única Mulher (TVI), Maison Close (Canal+), Águia Vermelha (RTVE) and Major Alvega (RTP). On streaming, he appeared in Glória (Netflix) and Na Porta ao Lado (OPTO). A graduate of ESTC and RESAD Madrid, he also trained internationally with Susan Batson, Anne Bogart and Pippo Delbono. He received the APCT Critics Award and was distinguished by the Centro Nacional de Cultura’s Jovens Criadores program.
