Íris Runa trained in dance at the National Conservatory and at the Academia de Dança Contemporânea de Setúbal. She spent a year working with Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo before joining ACT – Escola de Actores.
She has worked with António Pires in the play “Penthesilea”, with Beatriz Batarda in “C., Celeste e a Primeira Virtude”, with António Simão in “Remédio”, and in “Leões” with Artistas Unidos. Alongside her acting work, she provided movement support for the productions “C., Celeste e a Primeira Virtude” and “Os Dois Irmãos”, by Alex and Pedro Russo, and worked as artistic assistant on the performance “Sybille” by Romeu Runa.
More recently, she joined the cast of João Canijo’s upcoming film and the SIC soap opera “Páginas da Vida”.
